At 542 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms mainly northwest of a line from Hugo to
Fayetteville. Showers were heaviest in Creek, Tulsa and Okfuskee
counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an
inch with maximum amounts of one half to three quarters of an inch.
Coverage increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for
late this afternoon and early this evening, cloudy, occasional
showers and scattered thunderstorms with temperatures 71 to 85
decreasing to 69 to 75 degrees and northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

winds up to 5 mph.
