At 1228 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly southwest of
a Tulsa to Fort Smith line. They were most widespread and heaviest
in Pittsburg, Latimer and Mcintosh counties in Oklahoma and was more
widespread in southcentral Oklahoma. Movement was to the east at
around 15 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was
around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a
half to two inches. Coverage increased but intensity decreased
during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late tonight,
cloudy, occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms with
temperatures 63 to 68 degrees and north winds up to 10 mph.

around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a
half to two inches. Coverage increased but intensity decreased
during the last hour. The Fort Smith area forecast for late tonight,
cloudy, showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms with
temperatures 69 to 77 degrees and northwest winds up to 5 mph.
