At 828 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in Pawnee,
Osage and Tulsa counties in Oklahoma. It was more widespread in
northcentral Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area.
Movement was to the east at around 15 mph. The average amount where
it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch with maximum
amounts of two to two and a half inches. Intensity decreased during
the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening , late
this evening and into overnight, partly cloudy, a slight chance of
showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 83 to 94 degrees and
south winds 5 to 10 mph.
