Another very warm to hot day is on tap with highs in the low to mid 90s and afternoon heat indices of 95-100F for most areas. Breezy conditions with gusts to 25 mph are possible. An isolated storm could develop over the higher terrain of southeast OK or northwest AR (10% chance) this afternoon or evening. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. MONDAY TO TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential. WEDNESDAY TO THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. FRIDAY TO SATURDAY...No Hazards. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Windy weather persists Monday to Tuesday with a few storms over the higher terrain of southeast OK and northwest AR. Severe weather is not expected. Additional storms may spread across eastern OK Wed-Thurs (10-30% chance) with some slight cooling of high temperatures.
