...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM
MDT/800 PM CDT/ FOR SOUTHWESTERN TODD...SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON AND
BENNETT COUNTIES...

At 602 PM MDT/702 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles
southwest of Hisle, or 11 miles north of Martin, moving southeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe storm will be near...
  Martin, LaCreek North Housing, and Sunrise Housing around 605 PM
  MDT.
  Lacreek Wildlife Refuge around 610 PM MDT.
  Tuthill around 615 PM MDT.
  Vetal around 620 PM MDT.
  Harrington around 640 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include eastern
Pine Ridge Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.
