...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HAYWOOD COUNTY
THROUGH 130 PM EDT...

At 106 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles north of Waynesville, or 5 miles northeast of Smoky
Mountains-Cataloochee. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Smoky Mountains-Cataloochee, Smoky Mountains-Big Creek, Cove Creek,
and Fines Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
