The Pikesville NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KEC-83, located in Pikesville, Maryland and broadcasting on a frequency of 162.400 Megahertz, has encountered a mechanical error that will cause it to be intermittently go off the air. Technicians have identified the issue, but will be unable to make any repairs until at least Monday.
