This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of Mexico. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop by the early afternoon hours and continue into the early evening. Storms may contain periods of heavy rain, gusty winds and frequent lightning. Excessive Heat: Peak indices will likely reach the triple digits today, but should generally remain below advisory criteria. Excessive Rainfall: With slow moving thunderstorms containing heavy downpours, localized flooding is possible across urban and poor drainage areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms will continue to be possible each day becoming more widespread by the middle to the end of the week. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will be possible during this time frame across the region as deep tropical moisture pushes into the area.
