-- Changed Discussion --
Issued at 821 PM EDT Fri Jun 21 2024 Showers and storms are expected to dissipate while moving offshore over next hour or two. Weather system over the Gulf/southwest of the Peninsula continue to push moisture across the region through the weekend, which should increase rain chances in some areas with prevailing southeasterly flow in place. This set up combined with the afternoon sea breeze supports convection mainly along the interior and I-75 corridor during the late afternoon. Then, activity pushing offshore during the evening hours. In addition, the increase in moisture will make afternoon highs feel very uncomfortable, so keep this in mind while making plans this weekend. Otherwise, no changes were made to the forecast as it remains on track.
