Daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected for the next week, though the location will change day-to-day. Much of north central and northeast New Mexico will be impacted by heavy rain this evening and tonight. On Sunday, the focus will be across will be across far western and far northern New Mexico. Showers and thunderstorms will favor central and western New Mexico on Monday, then all areas will have potential for precipitation Tuesday and Wednesday. A downtrend in coverage is expected Thursday, but will ramp back up over eastern New Mexico on Friday. Each day will have the potential for heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
