...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT THURSDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
Gusty east winds of 50-60 mph will continue into the early morning
hours. Gusts of 30-40 mph will be possible before dawn, with speeds
lowering to 20 to 30 mph through the late morning. More moisture
will be working in with the east winds, leading to higher humidity
recovery through dawn Thursday. The additional moisture will moderate
temperatures and lead to a chance for scattered showers and
thunderstorms, mainly in the late afternoon and evening. The east
canyon wind could surge up and turn gusty again in the early
evening Thursday as nearby thunderstorms move through. Additional
scattered storms will be possible into Friday and Saturday.

                    thunderstorms. Any storms will drift from south
                    to north at about 15 to 20 mph.
