...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL SAN JUAN COUNTY
THROUGH 530 PM MDT...

At 455 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Farmington, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Farmington, Bloomfield, NAPI Headquarters, and Upper Fruitland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Motorists can expect brief but sudden changes in visibility and
ponding of water on highways as storms move through the area.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibilities below one quarter mile at times.
