...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL ROOSEVELT AND EAST
CENTRAL CHAVES COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM MDT...

At 647 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles north of Caprock, or 31 miles northwest of Tatum, moving south
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Roosevelt and east central Chaves Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
