...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ROOSEVELT...NORTHEASTERN
DE BACA AND CURRY COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM MDT...

At 544 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bellview to 8 miles north of Melrose to
near Sumner Lake. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Clovis, Fort Sumner, Texico, Melrose, Saint Vrain, Ranchvale, Taiban,
Tolar, Cannon Air Force Base, and Sumner Lake State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
