...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHAVES COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM MDT...

At 413 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southeast of Hagerman, or 15 miles northeast of Artesia. This
storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Chaves
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
