...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN UNION COUNTY
THROUGH 115 PM MDT...

At 1243 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles northeast of Grenville, or 19 miles east of Des Moines, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Union
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.
