National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
1244 PM CDT Tue Jun 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible through mid-
morning and again late this afternoon into tonight. A couple of
storms could turn strong to severe, especially from the James Valley
and points east late this afternoon through late evening. High
pressure will gradually build in on Wednesday and return dry
conditions to the area. Another storm system arriving by late this
week will bring in additional chances for more rainfall. This
afternoon`s lowest relative humidity values will bottom out around
30 to 35 percent from the Leola Hills area west into north central
South Dakota.
