.DISCUSSION...A strong ridge of high pressure remains over the area with
shortwaves aloft providing instability for thunderstorm activity in the
afternoon and evening hours. Expect Wednesday to be the hottest and driest
day, though Thursday will also be very hot and dry. Increased thunderstorm
activity is possible Thursday and Friday. Highs in the 80s are expected
through at least early next week.
