Low pressure will linger well off the northern mid-Atlantic coast
today, as high pressure remains centered over Atlantic Canada.
The high then slowly retreats through this evening. Tropical
Cyclone Helene moves inland along the Gulf Coast Thursday,
tracking well west of the area by Friday.
