  Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to Virginia-North Carolina
  border out to 20 nm...
  Currituck Sound...
  James River from James River Bridge to Hampton Roads
  Bridge-Tunnel...

At 1220 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 4th Island Bay Bridge to near
Sewells Point to 12 nm southwest of Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel,
moving east at 20 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
