...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MECKLENBURG...
SOUTHERN LUNENBURG AND WESTERN BRUNSWICK COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM
EDT...

At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of South Hill, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Mecklenburg, southern Lunenburg and western Brunswick Counties,
including the following locations... Gary, Bacons Fork, Cochran,
Wilburn, Gills Corner, Loves Mill, North View, Meredithville,
Forksville, and Danieltown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
