...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ISLE OF WIGHT...CENTRAL
SOUTHAMPTON AND SOUTHEASTERN SUSSEX COUNTIES...THE CITY OF FRANKLIN
AND THE CENTRAL CITY OF SUFFOLK THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Isle Of Wight to 7 miles northeast of
Green Plain. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Windsor, Isle Of Wight, Zuni, and Sedley around 445 PM EDT.
  Courtland and Suffolk around 450 PM EDT.
  Franklin, Driver, Hunterdale, Kings Fork, and Crittenden around
  515 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Vicksville,
Carrollton, Longview, Benns Church, Huntersville, Yale, Worrell,
Chuckatuck, Dory, and Lees Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
southeastern Virginia.
