...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL COLUMBIA COUNTY THROUGH
400 PM EDT...

At 313 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Claverack-Red Mills, or over Hudson, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hudson, Claverack, Athens, Austerlitz, Philmont, Lorenz Park,
Claverack-Red Mills, Ghent, Greenport Center, Mellenville, Red Rock,
North Hillsdale, Arnolds Mill, Brick Tavern, Harlemville, Pulvers,
Martindale, Green River, Spencertown, and Upper Hollowville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
