Thunderstorms are possible mainly late this afternoon and evening across much of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles. A few storms may become severe, with damaging winds and large hail the primary hazards. In addition, heavy rainfall will likely accompany the strongest storms, which may cause flooding or flash flooding. Temperatures or Heat Index values of 105 to 108 degrees are anticipated through early this evening for the far southeastern Texas Panhandle and the Palo Duro Canyon State Park. A Heat Advisory is in effect for these areas until 9 PM this evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. High temperatures or Heat Index values approaching or exceeding 105 degrees may occur across parts of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles on Friday. Additional Heat Advisories may be needed Friday. Thunderstorms will be possible across at least parts of the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles Friday night through Sunday evening. A few storms that develop Saturday afternoon and evening may become severe, with damaging winds and large hail the primary hazards. Additional thunderstorms may develop across the area Tuesday night and Wednesday. Storms that form during this time period are expected to remain below severe levels at this time. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
