...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Root River Near Houston affecting Houston County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHERE...Root River near Houston.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 15.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Monday was 16.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 6.5 feet Monday, July
    01.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16.0 feet on 07/12/2000.
