PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Turkey River at Spillville.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 12.8 feet tomorrow morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.9 feet on 03/19/1986.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning to early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs in areas near the
  river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 9.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning to a crest of 12.7 feet early Monday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.5 feet on 07/22/2017.
