...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OLMSTED...NORTHERN
MOWER...SOUTHEASTERN DODGE AND NORTHWESTERN FILLMORE COUNTIES THROUGH
345 PM CDT...

At 312 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hayfield, or 10 miles south of Dodge Center, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Rochester, Stewartville, Hayfield, Marion, High Forest, Pleasant
Grove, Washington, Rock Dell, Racine, Oslo, Waltham, Sargeant,
and Rochester Airport.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 197 and
222.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
