...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SULLIVAN...NORTHEASTERN
LACKAWANNA...CENTRAL WAYNE AND NORTHERN PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 PM
EDT...

At 1155 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Bethel to Mayfield. Movement was east at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fallsburg, Carbondale, Archbald, Monticello, Blakely, Jessup,
Honesdale, Liberty, Bethel, and Damascus.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 86/Route 17 between 100 and 111.
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 197 and 201.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
central New York...and northeastern Pennsylvania.
