...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL STEUBEN COUNTY
THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 447 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hornell, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hornell, Canisteo, Arkport, North Hornell, Hartsville, Almond, West
Greenwood, and Buena Vista.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 86/Route 17 between 34 North and 34 South.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
