...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN BROOME...
SOUTHEASTERN CORTLAND AND WEST CENTRAL CHENANGO COUNTIES THROUGH 515
PM EDT...

At 424 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Willet, or near Marathon, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cincinnatus, Willet, Pharsalia, German, Smithville Flats, Mc Donough,
and Texas Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Binghamton.
