...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHEMUNG...SOUTHERN
TIOGA AND NORTHEASTERN BRADFORD COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...
At 540 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Waverly, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Barton, Sayre, Waverly, Owego, Athens, Litchfield, South Waverly,
Windham, Nichols, and Apalachin.
This includes the following highway exits...
Interstate 86/Route 17 between 59A and 66.
