...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL BROOME AND
NORTHWESTERN SUSQUEHANNA COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 357 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Brackney, or 7 miles south of Binghamton, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kirkwood, Conklin, Hallstead, New Milford, Great Bend, Brackney, Salt
Springs State Park, Hickory Grove, and Wyoanna.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 near 230.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
