...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SULLIVAN...
NORTHEASTERN LACKAWANNA...SOUTHERN WAYNE AND CENTRAL PIKE COUNTIES
THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Arlington, or 8 miles south of Honesdale, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carbondale, Archbald, Blakely, Dickson City, Olyphant, Lackawaxen,
Blooming Grove, Jessup, Honesdale, and Paupack.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 84 between 26 and 34.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
