...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MORTON COUNTY
THROUGH 545 PM CDT...

At 518 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Almont, or 25 miles west of Mandan, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Salem, Almont, Judson, Fish Creek Dam, Sweet Briar Lake, and
Crown Butte Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central North Dakota.
