...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MCLEAN AND
NORTHWESTERN MERCER COUNTIES THROUGH 245 AM CDT...

At 212 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 8 miles west of Beulah Bay Recreation Area, or 19 miles
northwest of Beulah, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Garrison, Roseglen, Beulah Bay Recreation Area, Hazen Bay Recreation
Area, White Shield, Indian Hills State Recreation Area, Dakota Waters
Recreation Area, Raub, Emmet, Fort Stevenson State Park, and Fort
Berthold.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
