...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MCKENZIE...
SOUTHEASTERN WILLIAMS AND WESTERN MOUNTRAIL COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM
CDT...

At 328 AM CDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was located 13 miles
south of Ray, or 25 miles east of Williston, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Williston, New Town, Ray, Alexander, Van Hook Park, 4 Bears Lodge,
Four Bears Village, White Earth, Lewis And Clark State Park, White
Earth Bay Recreation Area, Spring Brook, White Tail Bay Recreation
Area, and Tobacco Garden Bay Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near western portions of lake Sakakawea, stay out of the
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can
strike out to 10 miles from the parent thunderstorm.
