...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN GREENE AND NORTH
CENTRAL SUMTER COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 611 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
New West Greene, or 12 miles south of Aliceville, moving east at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Panola, West Greene, New West Greene, Warsaw, Pleasant Ridge, and New
Mount Hebron.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
west central Alabama.
