.DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms will develop early Wednesday morning across southeast Oregon,
spreading into southwest Idaho by daybreak. Little precipitation is expected to accompany
these initial storms, with gusty and erratic outflow winds occurring with any thunderstorm.
Thunderstorm chances (30-50%) continue into the afternoon and evening across southwest
and west-central Idaho, while diminishing over southeast Oregon. Hot temperatures will
continue along with low humidity values during the afternoon, and poor overnight recovery.
Breezy west winds develop across southeast Oregon Wednesday afternoon. Thunderstorm chances
end Thursday as a cold front shifts to the east. Temperatures will be 10-15 degrees cooler
on Thursday, but dry air will maintain low humidity values throughout the day.
