...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN OWYHEE COUNTY THROUGH
315 PM MDT...

At 234 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Black Rock Crossing, or 12 miles northwest of Jarbidge, moving
northeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Owyhee
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
