.DISCUSSION...Southwest winds to prevail through Tuesday. Gusts to
40 mph will be possible over the exposed ridges. There will be a
brief wind shift to the northwest as a cold front moves through
overnight. On Tuesday afternoon, there will be a slight chance for
showers and thunderstorms. Snow level is expected to be 11,000 to
12,000 feet. Most of the showers and storms are expected to stay
south and east of the area.
