Most of the storms will produce brief rain and gusty winds. The strongest storms could produce hail up to an inch in diameter, wind gusts to 60 mph and brief heavy rainfall with the highest threat of this south of Castle Rock and Limon between 4 PM and 8 PM. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Above normal temperatures are likely Wednesday and Thursday followed by isolated chances of a shower or storm mainly for the foothills and mountains. Expect afternoon high temperatures of 90 to 98 degrees mainly across the urban corridor and plains. Slightly cooler temperatures and scattered storms are possible by Friday. There is also the potential for strong to severe storms with hail and heavy rain across the Northeastern Plains and Palmer Divide on Friday, especially for areas east of the Front Range Urban Corridor.
