FOR CENTRAL TOLLAND COUNTY...
At 623 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Tolland, or
near Vernon, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Vernon, Mansfield, Ellington, Tolland, Coventry, Stafford,
Willington, Bolton, and Andover.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northern
Connecticut.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
