Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ100-290400- 335 PM CDT Fri Jun 28 2024 .SYNOPSIS...Slightly stronger winds and building seas are expected tonight and over the weekend as a trough of low pressure near the Yucatan Peninsula tracks westward. As the trough approaches the western Gulf of Mexico later Saturday and Sunday chances for showers and thunderstorms increase.
