At 1118 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Swanton, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Franklin, Swanton, Swanton Village, St. Albans Town, Highgate Falls, Highgate, St. Albans City, Sheldon, Fairfield, Lake Carmi State Park, Fletcher, Georgia, Bakersfield, Fairfax, Swanton Junction, Kill Kare State Park, Sheldon Junction, Highgate Center, St. Albans Bay, and North Sheldon.
