...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN CLINTON...NORTHERN FRANKLIN AND SOUTHEASTERN ST.
LAWRENCE COUNTIES...

At 1148 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Dickinson Center to near Parishville to near
Higley Flow State Park to South Edwards, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include...
Potsdam, Canton, Gouverneur, Moira, De Kalb, Bangor, Parishville,
Fort Covington, Colton, Bombay, Degrasse, Helena, Burke, Carry Falls
Reservoir, Richville, Cranberry Lake, Brushton, Lawrenceville,
Malone, and Chateaugay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
