A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Lake Erie from Ripley to Dunkirk...

At 918 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers with embedded
thunder, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These
showers were located along a line extending from 15 nm northwest of
Dunkirk to 7 nm northeast of Erie, moving east at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Van Buren Point, Barcelona, Ripley, and Dunkirk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
