A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Lake Erie from Dunkirk to the Buffalo Harbor...

At 940 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line
extending from 9 nm west of Erie Basin Marina to near Van Buren
Point, moving northeast at 40 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Small Boat Harbor, Lake Erie Beach, Wanakah, Woodlawn Beach, Erie
Basin Marina, Sturgeon Point, Dunkirk, Athol Springs, Bayview, and
Sunset Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
