.DISCUSSION...

Through Monday night...

A quiet weather pattern expected for the next 48 hours. Residual
low level cloud cover this afternoon will dissipate after 6pm,
along with wind speeds. Can`t rule out patchy fog development for
area river valleys after midnight. Frost potential also exists for
area foothills and portions of SE Montana around sunrise, so make
plans to protect tender vegitation tonight. Flow aloft tomorrow
will be zonal and fairly light keeping skies mostly sunny and
temperatures in the low-mid 70s. Sunday night a weak disturbance
drops in from the northwest and pushes a dry cold front through
the region. This feature will drop temperatures Monday afternoon
to around the 70 degree mark and bring breezy to locally gusty
northwest winds to the region. Chambers

Tuesday through Saturday...

Uneventful weather pattern continues for the extended period.
Main sensible weather change will be temperatures warming into the
mid-80s by Wednesday as a strong ridge aloft builds over the
region. The warm temperatures look to persist into the end of the
work week, though there is some hint that a Pacific cold front may
make it into the area by Thursday afternoon taking the edge off
of temperatures for Thu into the weekend (back into the 70s). Even
the solutions showing the front moving in late week do not show
much if any precipitation. Chambers

.AVIATION...

VFR conditions will prevail through tonight. That said there are
low chances (20-30percent) for fog development along area river
valleys tonight. Have kept this mention out of TAF locations due
to their elevated locations, but will keep an eye on this tonight.
Northwest winds gusting 15 to 25 kts @18z over SE Montana will
diminish through the afternoon. All areas will see light and
variable winds around 00z this evening. Strata- Cu will lift from
3-4kft AGL to 5 to 7kft AGL as the afternoon goes on, with clear
skies expected by 02z. Chambers
