...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern
Calhoun, southeastern Lexington, north central Orangeburg and
southeastern Richland Counties through 600 PM EDT...

At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sandy Run, or 14 miles south of Cayce, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and frequent lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
St. Matthews, Gaston, Gadsden, Congaree National Park, Sandy Run,
Swansea, North, Woodford, New Zion, and Lexington Acres Pond.

This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 122 and 141.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
