...The Frost/Freeze Program for the North Woods has ended for the
season...

Frost and freeze headlines will no longer be issued this fall
season for northwest Maine. This includes northern Somerset
county, northwest Aroostook County, and northern Piscataquis
County. After September 21st, frost is climatologically likely and
should be expected. Farmers and gardeners can still refer to the
frost/freeze potential in our forecast products until the
frost/freeze season ends for all of northern and eastern Maine on
October 21st.
